DECEMBER!!!! 45 EVENTS IN 30 NIGHTS

As I type this final post for 2011, I'm DJing on board this magnificent vessel, the superyacht " Mary Jean ".

We are moored in Sydney Cove, it's NYE the fireworks have just finished and the party is in full swing.

December was everything we expected and planned for! My team of ultra professional DJs kept everyone dancing from the Hunter Valley in the north, Bawley point in the south and everywhere in between.

We presented music to approximately 50,000 guests in December and plan to double that in 2012.

Hi Brett

I just wanted to send a quick note in writing to say thanks again.  We all really appreciated your talents at our party last week!

I had so many comments about the MixaBand too – what an excellent addition they were, what a great first impression they created for guests.  Also comments about your appearance and professionalism, it was all just spot on and really flowed!!

Could I put a tentative hold on you and the MixaBand for next year’s party please?  I say tentative, because I definitely want you guys there, but I don’t have a confirmed date yet!  I’m trying to lock in a new venue, and am aiming for Friday 14 or Friday 21 December 2012.  How are you placed on those dates?!

MASSIVE THANK YOU for Friday night. I've been meaning to email you to thank you so much. The music was FANTASTIC. I've had nothing but amazing comments from everyone saying how good the DJ was! I actually think that's the first party that we've had where pretty much everyone in the company was on the floor from beginning to end.

November #1

Hi there,
Wow what a month, November has been one of the biggest since we started up all those years ago!

The month started with a American Express event at the new rooftop level of the MCA gallery in the Rocks. This was followed by 2 nights at the Taronga Zoo marquee for QANTAS AUSTRALIA playing support to Richard Tongetti and Members of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra,  "The Justice Crew" and the QANTAS childrens choir. The first evening was hosted by Daniel Macpherson ( nicest guy in Australia ) and the second evening was hosted by Richard Wilkins.

 The Bong Bong Races is a highlight of the social calender for the N.S.W Southern Highlands!
 The meeting is run the following week after Melbourne cup and attracts a great deal of media
 attention as the who's who of the horse set are in attendance.
the Good People at  FORM OVER FUNCTION produced and styled a beautiful marquee for the Ironbridge venture capital group. I was attired in a smart pinstipe suit and played an resort style funky set, that kept everybody moving.

Another stella weekend in Sydney

Another stella weekend in Sydney with EVENT MUSIC SOLUTIONS and SYDNEY WEDDING DJS Presenting music at Doltone House, Quay restaurant, The Sydney Opera House & Luna Park. We enjoy preferred professional relationships with a selection of these venues, purely because we offer a similar style and customer service that reflects theirs.

Pacific Brands / Bonds

The fab people at Pacific brands / Bonds love a party and so do we!
A wonderful luncheon and dancing is to take place in picturesque
Birchgrove early next month. Senor Philip Muscatello will be providing the soundtrack to this fabulous soiree.

MEATLOAF / A DAY ON THE GREEN / BIMBADGEN ESTATE

Next month we will be playing the DJ support to 70s rock superstar MEATLOAF at Bimbadgen Estate in the Hunter valley. Rock impresario Mr Marc Christowski from Empire Touring company estimates 8000 rocking fans at A DAY ON THE GREEN. This is gonna be GR8!

Channel 9

I have had the pleasure of working for Channel 9 Sydney many times in the past, including "The Today Show's " Marry in the morning and the Brian Henderson farewell TV special. This month we'll have the pleasure again. Stay tuned!

BT funds management Singapore kickoff 2011.

One of the best 5 day conferences i’ve had the pleasure being
apart of. “Workshop Events” produced a stellar week of gala
dinners, showcases, presentations and after parties. Drinks at
the world famous Raffles hotel billiard room, an open air dinner
party at the Singapore zoo and dancing at our own private
discotheque till the wee hours. AV legend & 3200 director Mr
Iain Reed and I provided outstanding music and technical
support throughout the entire conference and the grand finale
dinner at the Marina bay sands hotel was surely a highlight.
The conference was concluded with a spectacular rooftop
soiree at internationally famous KU DE TAH . 

Petbarn National Conference 2011.

The Petbarn national conference was this year staged that the
Fairmont resort in the Blue Mountains. I was fortunate enough to
be invited back for a second year. Once again my brief was to act
as MC / DJ and present an energetic night of dancing at the
Welcome dinner and to close the 5 day conference with an after
party to end all after parties in a secret location in the resort.

Qantas holiday’s international symposium.

We have been associated with Qantas Holidays for many
years now, and have traveled interstate and overseas to
support these events with high quality support in music
content, BGM, stings, V.O.G, etc. Over 4 nights, I played a
truly international selection of music for delegates from all
over the globe. The evening’s were staged at Sydney’s famous bar   at Hilton of Sydney.

Livio & Rebecca's wedding reception was a wonderful occasion with guests from all over the world. I was the MC on this reception and took pride in making all guests both young and old feel welcome and relaxed.

I received a  "manhug" from the groom and his father on that day, Simply for a job well done.

Sydney Wedding DJS supports breast cancer awareness

On October 27th I will be donating my services to further the awareness of this wonderful support network. I'm very happy and proud to be asked to contribute to this most worthy cause.





The American Express Women’s Interest Network (WIN) is a volunteer self organized group of American Express female employees who support good health and all areas related to women in the workplace. Every year WIN partner with Cancer Australia specifically for Breast and Ovarian Cancer throughout the month of October. A number of workshops and fundraising activities will be held throughout the month of October with educational collateral available to more than 2,500 Australia based American Express staff to promote the education and awareness of women’s breast & ovarian cancer, encourage good breast health, and provide much needed fundraising.

 One of the things I love about my work is that it is only limited by the event producers imagination. 

This kickoff event for ACCOR was staged at Sydney Olympic Park and featured the National diving squad performing amazing dives ( in between training for the 2012 Olympic Games) all the while I am presenting their soundtrack ( that's me behind the "Are you ready" DJ console ) 

The event  featured the very lovely JESSICA MAUBOY as the events special guest  and the lighting and

sound was expertly produced by
3200 PRODUCTIONS.

Cockatoo Island for VISIONS IN STYLE & EMPIRE TOURING

This was a very special event for me, as I was fortunate to work alongside some of Australia's greatest entertainers including, Jon Stevens, Wendy Matthews, Richard Clapton and one of my personal favourites "The Justice Crew". 

The event was too celebrate a great Australian company by presenting the best in Australian entertainment.

NTIA AFTA Awards Night After Party with Concept Events

Saturday night saw the Westin Ballroom transformed into a SUPERCLUB for the Annual AFTA awards after party. The night was staged by CONCEPT events & the music was provided by myself for PRIDEAUX ENTERTAINMENT SOLUTIONS with the aid of AUSTAGE & EASTON LIGHTING DESIGN. I played a 4 hr monster mashup set consisting of

Peter Fitzsimons 50th birthday celebration

It was a stella evening in the sleepy streets of Sydney's Neutral Bay, where I was asked to come and play at Sportsman, broadcaster, Author and allround top bloke Peter Fitzsimon's 50th Birthday party.

The tennis court was transformed into a lavish dining room by PIQUANT catering and inspired sound lighting and vision by INNOVATIVE PRODUCTIONS. The guest list was the who's who of Australian Television and Sport, including Andrew Denton, Elizabeth Hayes, Karl Stefanovic and of course the forever radiant Lisa Wilkinson.  The evening was punctuated with performances by ANTHONY GALEA & TIM CAMPBELL and video Messages from JOHN FARHNAM, NICK FARR JONES, GLEN WHEATLEY to name but a few. I started the dancing with some classic rock from the audiences younger days and continued till a visit from the local police saw us finish a little earlier than scheduled.

Today Show " Married in the morning "

While I'm out working, I thought you might enjoy some of my past work! A few years back I was invited by Anthony Del Col ( Australia's Number 1 Wedding Co Ordinator ) from Staging Connections, to present the music for  Channel 9s " Married in the morning" on the top rating " Today Show " .

They were a wonderful couple and the production crew treated the event with the dignity and respect it deserved. The Bride and Groom thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and loved the music too!

The place is going mad, I'm sharing the decks with a 18 year old "DUBSTEP" dj that is killing it.
My set however is an alltime crowd pleaser, with people going off to the latest house tunes.
The parents dont really know what's going on, and they're ok with that.

A big weekend

A big weekend of events for us, Dueling DJs @ Doltone House, Electro disco set @ M.O.S cafe, MIXADJBAND @ Westin Ballroom and big celebrity birthday on the north shore, with my good friends at Innovative productions and Piquant catering.

WE have just returned from Singapore producing three special events over four steamy April days for 500 guests from all parts of Australia. A welcome night at the historic Raffles Hotel Billiard Room; a family night at Singapore Zoo including a Night Safari experience to please all ages and finally a Gala Dinner whose destination was kept as a surprise. Guests were taken to the stunning new Marina Bay Sands complex for an awards ceremony and dinner before being carried away in a sea of balloons to the exclusive Ku De Ta to dance the night away on top of the world! Needless to say, the team managed to soak up some oriental inspiration (and do some shopping) while they were there.

Worlds biggest tupperware party ( Live site in Martin place )

Approximately 3,000 Sydney-siders attended the World’s Biggest Tupperware Party events in Martin Place which featured Fast Ed Halmagyi (from Better Homes & Gardens fame) cooking up a storm, live performances from House of Gaga, Me on the Decks and  Shelley Craft as MC.

Singapore Gala Dinner

Singapore Day#3

Singapore Day#3.
We presented the Gala / Finale dinner @  " Marina Bay Sands" Event and Convention centre. Not so much DJing on this event, but more Audio / Playback operator, as we presented some of the best sight acts in Asia and finished the evening with a performance by " Soulmystique" Which are simply one of the best illusion acts in the world today. Upon completion I made my way up to KU DE TAH on the 57 floor overlooking Singapore's sparkling skyline and dancing till late, very late was how we finished our fabulous 5 days.

 

Singapore Day #2
We presented a jungle inspired evening at the world famous Singapore Zoo! The evening kicked off with an "Up close and personal "  visit by 3 fully grown Indian Elephants and then was punctuated with the "Night Safari " tram rides through the park. Multipule performances took place, Jungle music was played and once again this was followed with a club night / after party that kicked on to the wee small hours.

Singapore Day#1

Finally home from 4 days of events in vibrant Singapore, Please read on for a day by day
description of my visit.

On Day #1 we presented the welcome drinks for 600 clients at the world famous
Raffles hotel ( Home of the Singapore sling cocktail ) in the Billiard room and courtyard.
Dressed in smart suit & tie, I played a wonderful cocktail bar set that was reflective of the occasion and
setting. After the drinks I transfered to "INK BAR" and made ready for the after party that partied till very late.

In Da club, I played a mash up set of Classic disco, Nu tunes, Rock, House, RnB and awesome 80s.

Welcome to my blog page, This week I am in Singapore with WORKSHOP EVENTS presenting a 5 day conference for BT FUNDS MANAGEMENT. Tonight I am presenting a wonderful evenings music at the world famous RAFFLES HOTEL billiard room and then a club set at "ink" bar at the FAIRMONT HOTEL.  Later this week I will be playing at the SINGAPORE ZOO and KU DE TAH at MARINA BAY SANDS.
